Hindu nationalism in Pawan Kalyan's film?

'Hari Hara Veera Mallu' is going to be released in the second half of 2023. Producer AM Rathnam has said that the film's subject is such that it will be liked more by the North Indian audience.

The remark is interesting. The period film is set in the Mughal era when Aurangazeb, played by Bollywood actor Bobby Deol, lived. It seems Pawan Kalyan's character in the movie represents the sentiments of the culturally-rooted populace of the time.

Aurangazeb is a hated Mughal king in North India. Although official historians show him as a non-evil person, he was a fanatical king, a fact 'HHVM' is expected to show without being apologetic.

That seems to be the reason AM Rathnam is saying that film will be loved by the North Indians more than South Indians. In that case, 'HHVM' is going to be described as a film with Hindu nationalist persuasions.

The pan-India film, if it becomes a hit in Hindi, will boost Power Star's stardom in a big way.
