'Panchathantram', which is headlined by a bunch of actors ranging from Brahmanandam, Swathi Reddy, Shivathmika Rajasekhar and Samuthirakani to Rahul Vijay, has completed its shooting. Today, marking Brahmi's birthday, a teaser dedicated to his character was released by the makers.
Director Harsha Pulipaka has cast Brahmi as a retired All India Radio employee who turns into a narrator at the age of 60. His daughter, played by Swathi Reddy, has her doubts but he is willing to compete with youngsters half his age. The scenes between the two actors are expected to be dramatic and emotionally touching.
Producers Akhilesh Vardhan and Srujan Yarabolu today stated that the character will bring out a new side in Brahmi. It's a serious character.
After having acted in 1000 films, Brahmi has proved his versatility in comedy. 'Panchathantram' is about his other type of versatility.
Naresh Agasthya, Divya Sripada, Srividya, Vikas, Aadarsh Balakrishna and others are part of the cast. If the cinematography is by Raj K Nalli, the music is by Prashanth R Vihari.
