'IQ', starring Sai Charan and Pallavi in the lead, is produced and directed by Srinivas. On Saturday, the project was launched in Hyderabad.
Speaking on the occasion, chief guest Ghanta Srinivasa Rao said that good content is always embraced by the audience. 'IQ' is a youthful subject that deserves to become a hit, he added. "I am reminded of 'DJ Tillu'. The vibes are similar. I wish the entire team all the best," the former Minister further said.
Producer KS Rama Rao said, "This movie has been made at a high cost. As per the subject, some portions have been shot in towns like Hampi. These days, making a film is as hard as bringing the audience to theatres. Since 'IQ' is an unconventional title, I would say that the makers would have to promote it more to make it get registered. I hope this film impresses the likes of Dil Raju, Suresh Babu, Sunil Narang, and Allu Aravind."
Srinivas GLB, the director-producer, said, "I thank the chief guests for being here. The title denotes intelligence. The heroine is a highly intelligent character in 'IQ'. All actors and technicians have been doing a great job."
Hero Sai Charan said, "I am glad to have got the opportunity to act in a nice film like this one. I come with no film background. I used to work as a techie before quitting the job to join acting classes under Satyanand garu."
The film also features Dhanraj, Lakshmi Rao, Parvathi Rathod, Chitram Sreenu, and more.
Music and dialogues are by Poluru Ghatikachalam, while cinematography is by T Surender Reddy. Editing is by Nandamuri Hari.
