'Kantara' is growing from strength to strength in both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. When it was released on October 15, multiplexes had it easy. Slowly, single screens, too, started witnessing a 'Kantara' wave, trumping the 'Diwali' releases. Even Karthi's 'Sardar' and 'Ori Devuda' have had to bear the brunt of the Rishab Shetty-starrer of late.

It's learned that many, many new screens have been added to the mystical action drama. Starting this Friday (Oct 28), more than 700 screens are going to show the Telugu-dubbed Kannada movie till November 4.

So far, 'Kantara' has grossed more than Rs 32 Cr in Telugu.

In Tamil Nadu, 'Kantara' in Tamil is being screened on more than 100 screens. In Hindi, the film is expected to amass a nett figure of Rs 40 Cr or so by the end of its run.
