'Bhaag Saale' is slated to be released in theatres on July 7. Ahead of the movie's release, its pre-release event was held on Sunday in Hyderabad.

Speaking on the occasion, 'Ustaad Bhagath Singh' director Harish Shankar appreciated the talents exhibited by Sri Simha in 'Mathu Vadalara' and Kaala Bhairava in 'Colour Photo', respectively. He also described Praneeth Brahmandapally's first feature film, 'Suryakantham', as one of his favourite movies. The 'Gabbar Singh' director appreciated Praneeth's sense of humour. He hoped that 'Bhaag Saale' turns out to be both entertaining and unique.

Producer Arjun Dasyan counted the crime comedy genre as an inherent advantage possessed by the film. "Director Praneeth has provided excellent output. Simha and Bhairava are sweet and genuine. They are unassuming despite their family background (they are MM Keeravani's sons)," he added.

Sri Simha thanked Chiranjeevi and others for promoting his movie digitally. He also thanked 'DJ Tillu' actor Siddhu Jonnalagadda for lending his voice to the film. He described director Praneeth as an ever-learning talent, also revealing that as many as fifteen drafts were written before the shoot began.

The film's director thanked the guests and projected the film as a laugh-out-loud outing. He spoke of the support he has received from his relatives, especially his uncles and sister. The young filmmaker described Kaala Bhairava as the invisible hero of the crime comedy.

The event was also attended by 'Bimbisara' director Mallidi Vashissta, Dasaradh, producer Yash Rangineni, 'Thalaivi' producer Vishnu Induri and others.

Starring Neha Solanki and Varshini Sounderarajan in key roles, this one also features Nandini Rai, John Vijay, Rajeev Kanakala, Viva Harsha, Satya, Sudarshan, Prithviraj, RJ Hemanth and Bindu Chandramouli.
