Earlier this month, two individuals were rounded up by the Hyderabad Cybercrime department for questioning in connection with the leak of a song from Ram Charan's 'Game Changer'.
Lastest, two individuals have been caught by the Cybercrime police for allegedly "spreading unauthorized content" pertaining to Prabhas' pan-Indian release 'Salaar'. The individuals in question have been suspected of having amplified the content without the consent of Hombale Films on social media platforms. "Strict action will be taken against those involved in unauthorized leaks related to 'Salaar'," a statement from the makers today said.
The swift nature of action against many mischievous individuals in recent weeks goes to show the resolve of the film industry to contain leaks and piracy. The makers of Prabhas' 'Kalki 2898 AD', too, have made similar moves.
'Salaar', meanwhile, is slated to hit the cinemas on December 22. Its trailer will be out on December 1 at 7:19 PM.
