After 'Adipurush' actress, sister Nupur meets bad luck

'Adipurush' effectively ended Kriti Sanon's pan-India career. The '1: Nenokkadine' actress, who played Sita in the Prabhas-starrer, would have been in demand in Telugu had that epic mythological become a hit. She won't be considered for pan-India biggies owing to the stupendous backlash she received because of 'Adipurush'.

And now, her sister has faced a major setback. Nupur Sanon, who is described as a trained singer, recently made a debut in Telugu with 'Tiger Nageswara Rao'. The pan-India film was dead on arrival in Hindi, registering negligible openings.

In Telugu, too, the biographical action thriller is a failure. Nupur expected 'TNR' to give a huge fillip to her career. Much to her disappointment, director Vamsee presented her in a dull fashion. She was fascinated by the project because of Ravi Teja's image.

For some reason, Nupur also walked out of Manchu Vishnu's magnum opus, 'Kannappa', weeks before the release of 'TNR'. At the moment, Nupur practically has no projects down South. She recently acted in the Hindi-language film 'Noorani Chehra', starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
