The 'baap' of all illogical police procedurals is here. As per Netizens, it is 'Indian Police Force', the Hindi-language web original streaming on Amazon Prime Video. Starring Sidharth Malhotra (as DSP Kabir Malik), Shilpa Shetty and Vivek Oberoi, the web original has been described as banal.

NDTV, which gave it a 1.5-star rating, said that the show's characters "generate no real spark of freshness given the stale material they are trapped in." The scathing review further opined, "It pans out in a manner so stilted and unstimulating that it is never in with a realistic chance of rising above the mundane."

Running into seven episodes, 'Indian Police Force' boasts of an "inane plot, poor script, disinterested acting and poor research." Directed by star Bollywood filmmaker Rohit Shetty, the series has been described as an "action debacle" by Film Companion.

"No bullet proof vests. Stand in front of the door and get shot. Wear a high visibility vest and try to hide from the terrorists. Let go of a terrorist who takes a child hostage with bare hands, give him the gun and gets killed," wrote a Netizen, describing some of the illogical scenes in the show.
