Actress Simran Choudhary of 'Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi' fame has taken to Dendroltry, which is also known as tree worship in common parlance. She believes that tree-hugging helps her to connect with Nature's wisdom, besides enabling physical and spiritual healing.

"Scientifically, spending time near trees reduces stress, enhances immunity, lowers blood pressure, and aids in recovery from illness or trauma," the actress, who has been vacationing in places like Bali, says. "Hugging trees triggers the release of the 'love hormone', fostering feelings of warmth and trust," Simran says.

On the World Environment Day the other day, she pledged to embrace the significance of trees, committing to planting more and safeguarding our wildlife.
