Telugu cinema celebs condole Ramoji Rao's demise

Ramoji Rao's demise at the age of 87 due to health reasons on Saturday has saddened the Telugu film industry. He will be remembered by the industry for making Hyderabad's Ramoji Film City a hub for film shootings.

In his condolence message, Chiranjeevi turned poetic and wrote that Rao never bowed before anyone.

Pawan Kalyan described Rao as a multi-faceted personality. "Eenadu, the newspaper he founded, has been a sensation in the history of India's news media," the Jana Sena chief added.

SS Rajamouli urged that the Bharat Ratna must be conferred on Rao. "One man with his 50 years of resilience, hardwork and innovation provided employment, livelihood and hope for millions," the 'Baahubali' maker tweeted.

Nandamuri Balakrishna described him as a media baron whose fame shone across the country. "His Usha Kiran Movies was a bright banner. He established the world's largest film city," the 'Veera Simha Reddy' actor wrote.

Jr NTR, Vishnu Manchu, Nandamuri Kalyanram, and several other celebs also joined in condoling Rao's death. Nithiin wrote that Rao's legacy will live on. "His contributions to the media industry will continue to inspire many," the 'Bheeshma' actor wrote.
