Vennela Kishore entered the film industry with the aim of becoming a film director. He wanted to wield the megaphone for a Pawan Kalyan film. That was his sole aim. In a recent interview with TV5, director Deva Katta revealed that his film Vennela had Kishore play a pivotal role accidentally.
"I had Shiva Reddy in mind for the character. But he couldn't travel to the US due to Visa issues. Kishore, who was already on board as an AD, felt apt for the character. I convinced him to play the part," Deva Katta said.
Director Sailesh Kolanu wanted to approach Satyadev Kancharana for HIT: The First Case. Just the night before the scheduled meeting, he accidentally watched a teaser of a movie in which Satyadev was cast as a cop. Kolanu felt that it wouldn't look novel if Satyadev played a cop for the second time. So, he changed his plans and the project eventually went to Vishwak Sen. Had Vishwak Sen not done HIT, most likely, he wouldn't have been remembered as a solo lead today. His filmography acquired weight because of that movie. Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi and Falaknuma Das were popular releases, but it was HIT that had him in a dashing, brooding performance.
