Incidentally, just a few days back, Hollywood superstar Leonardo DiCaprio faced a similar situation. He was stopped and searched by Spanish police outside an exclusive private party in Ibiza earlier this month as part of a routine security check. The incident came to light after weeks of delay.
According to Hollywood media reports, the 50-year-old actor, who was accompanied by his girlfriend Vittoria Ceretti and friends, was not initially recognized by the officers. Everyone at the event was subjected to standard security procedures, which included being patted down and showing identification. DiCaprio complied with the officers’ instructions, and after presenting his ID, he was allowed to enter the party. However, many suspect that the cops did recognize him but pretended to not have.
