The insider gossip in the Telugu film industry is that Anil Sunkara has, since he became a producer many years ago, lost Rs 200-300 Cr. Bholaa Shankar, Agent and Maha Samudram are counted as among his biggest gambles.
Speaking to ABN Chitrajyothy, Sunkara addressed the wild rumour. While he didn't give a figure, he suggested that he hasn't incurred losses to the tune of hundreds of crores. He revealed that Chiranjeevi did help him out when Bholaa Shankar flopped terribly at the box office. For Agent, Akhil Akkineni didn't charge a single rupee because of its box-office failure.
"One good thing about my film career is that everyone has been supportive," Anil Sunkara added.
