The 100, an emotional action thriller starring RK Sagar as IPS Vikranth, is slated to hit the cinemas on July 11. Its release date was made official today at an event in Hyderabad. Besides the hero, director Raghav Omkar Sasidhar and others were present on the occasion.
RK Sagar said that he had decided not to play cop characters for many years after playing RK Naidu in Mogali Rekalu (TV serial). "I loved the subject of The 100. We never made any compromises. The film is tight in terms of logical cohesion. We waited for the right release date. The content of our movie will speak for itself. IPS Vikrant will be remembered for long," Sagar said. "We have released a theme song today. The montages are excellent. The 100 is a message-driven, content-rich film like the recent hit, Court," the hero added.
RK Sagar revealed that Power Star Pawan Kalyan recently watched the trailer of his movie. "He watched it on repeat. His blessings will always be there for me," the hero said.
"Whoever has watched our movie has given us only applause. We are proud of this movie. We urge the media to support us," Director Sasidhar said. He plans to reveal the core point of the movie on a future date.
The music is by Harshavardhan Rameshwar of 'Animal', 'Kabir Singh', and 'Arjun Reddy' fame. Vijay Master and Dragon Prakash Master have composed the fights.
