Kuberaa has been described as a unanimous blockbuster by its makers. It is on a roll in the Telugu States and in the overseas market, with $1.32 million coming from North America in just two days.
At the movie's success meet on Saturday, Akkineni Nagarjuna said that nobody has given a less-than-three-star rating to the movie. "The response to my character has brought me great joy. The fans are also very happy. Like in Missamma, Mayabazar, and Gundamma Katha, you can’t really say who the hero of this film is—the story itself is the hero," the actor commented. Kuberaa stars Nag alongside Dhanush, Jim Sarbh and Rashmika Mandanna.
Director Sekhar Kammula justified the long run-time of his movie. He reasoned that a "fresh and genuine film that conveys layers of content" justifies three hours of run-time. "When you watch the film again, you will notice new layers that you might have missed the first time. Right from the time this story was conceived, we wanted to do it very differently—make it on the level of Hollywood, shoot it in real locations, and showcase Mumbai in a new way," Kammula said.
Producer Suniel Narang described Kuberaa as a "superhit", adding that Kammula is a great director. "Last night, when I was watching the second show, it felt mind-blowing. Even today, the bookings are terrific. The collections will keep increasing day by day," he said.
Producer Puskar Ram Mohan thanked Kammula for delivering a "wonderful film", remarking that Kuberaa has been flooded with blockbuster reports worldwide.
