After the disastrous performance of 'Liger' at the box office in 2022, director Puri Jagannadh received a call from SS Rajamouli's dad, Vijayendra Prasad. What followed was an interesting request by Vijayendra Prasad. "In his call with me, Vijayendra Prasad garu made a polite request. He asked me to narrate the story of my next movie to him (so that he could point out flaws and make suitable suggestions). Vijayendra Prasad garu told me he can't digest filmmakers like me delivering flops."
Cut to the present, Puri Jagannadh has accepted the "polite request" made by Vijayendra Prasad. He has called on the writer of Baahubali and RRR, presumably to narrate the story of his upcoming movie.
As is known, Puri recently announced a movie with Vijay Sethupathi. This pan-Indian movie will go on the floors in the month of June. Vijayendra Prasad is speculated to have become a part-time script doctor to help out Puri, a director he genuinely admires. Prasad's smartphone wallpaper is that of Puri Jagannadh!
