Rukmini Vasanth, who plays a pivotal role in Yash-starrer Toxic, has opened up about the international movie. The actress strongly hinted at the film's unique nature, stating, "Toxic is unlike anything we have seen in Kannada or Indian cinema so far. It’s raw, layered, and everything in between. Director Geetu’s vision is bold and very human at the same time.”

Recently, the star heroine was seen in Kantara: Chapter 1, a runaway blockbuster headlined by Rishab Shetty. She is currently also doing Jr NTR's Dragon, which is helmed by Prashanth Neel.

Toxic is currently being filmed in Bengaluru. It is the final schedule. The film's release in English along with Indian versions (read Hindi, Telugu, Kannada and a couple of other languages) is guaranteed. “Toxic is a story that defies convention and is sure to provoke the chaos within us," director Geetu Mohandas recently said. Toxic is produced jointly by KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations.

Toxic will hit the cinemas on 19 March 2026. Its promotions in all languages will be kicked off in January 2026.
