The first look of Prithviraj Sukumaran as the antagonist Kumbha in SS Rajamouli's upcoming film GlobeTrotter (tentatively SSMB29) was unveiled today. Netizens have criticized the design for feeling derivative, low-effort, and mismatched with Rajamouli's usual grandeur.

There are many positive reactions as well. "There seems to be effort in it all. Rajamouli's villains mainly work because of the malevolent persona they have.
