Paanch Minar, starring Raj Tarun in the lead, was released in theatres last week (November 21). It's currently streaming on an OTT platform. The movie's short OTT window (one week) has come as a shocker.
This is reminiscent of what happened last year with Satyadev Kancharana's Krishnamma (2024): Released in theaters on May 10, it streamed on OTT on May 17.
Raj Tarun's theatrical market has been on a downward spiral. He is increasingly becoming an OTT actor, with most of his movies getting released in theatres just as a formality. His most recent OTT release was Chiranjeeva. Raj Tarun has acted in movies like Naa Saami Ranga in recent times (he shared the screen space with Nagarjuna and Allari Naresh in this one); and it's his only notable outing. Bhale Unnade, Tiragabadara Saami, Purushothamudu, and Stand Up Rahul are among his other outings in the last two years.
