A social media user has wished for a comedy entertainer headlined by Naveen Polishetty and Mouli Tanuj. The reactions to his post on X reveals a lot about how a majority of movie-goers see the two talents.
While both Naveen and Mouli belong to the same generation, their styles are different. "I have followed Naveen's work since his YouTube days. He was way ahead of his time. Mouli caters to a different sensibility altogether," an X user commented. Naveen's skits were informed by the Woke sensibilities of his peers. Mouli's humour derives from everyday situations.
Little Hearts may be a blockbuster, but Mouli's comedy is seen as "nibba" humour. On the other hand, Naveen started on a whole different level by playing a comical spy in Agent Sai Srinivas Athreya. His silly comedy in Jathi Ratnalu may make him come closer to Mouli's brand, but only he could have done what he did in Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty. Naveen is ready with Anaganana Oka Raju, a potential Sankranthi winner. Mouli, in contrast, has a long way to go before proving his versatility.
