It is said that Indian actors are never naked, although they appear to come across as clothless in scenes. "They wear skin-tone modesty garments, and scenes are carefully choreographed, shot on a closed set, and governed by a nudity rider that specifies exactly what can be shown," writes Bacon Einstein. "Filmmakers rely on camera angles, hair/props/steam, body doubles, and VFX clean-ups to imply more than is seen. CBFC rules constrain theatrical nudity," he adds.
"They use special techniques, like flesh-colored coverings, strategic camera angles, body doubles, and digital effects to create the illusion while maintaining actor modesty," writes Aarsh. " In most cases, the nudity is only implied and the intercourse simulated. The actors have their privates covered with what's called a modesty patch, or prosthetics are used," analyzes Manu.
