Balayya issue: Chiranjeevi calms fans, but why did they make public utterances?

The Chiranjeevi-Balakrishna issue continues to be a storm in a teacup. Recently, Chiranjeevi gave a rebuttal to Balayya's comments made on the floor of the Assembly. Everyone was expecting the issue to be sorted out behind the curtains.

However, on Monday, a group of fans from the Akhila Bharata Chiranjeevi Yuvatha stated that they were ready to file complaints against Balakrishna in 300 police stations. An emergency meeting of Andhra and Telangana Mega fans was held at a hotel near Chiranjeevi Blood Bank in Hyderabad to brainstorm on the course of action. At the meeting, it was decided to file as many as 300 police complaints against Balayya across the Telugu States. However, Chiru intervened and asked the fans to withdraw their plans, saying that it was "not in our culture" to lodge complaints.

It is curious that the Akhila Bharata Chiranjeevi Yuvatha made it a point to speak about their original plans and Chiru's private directions to them. They could have remained silent about the development, as that's what would have been appreciated by the Vishwambhara actor. When not lodging complaints is "humanitarian", not talking about it in the public would count for high-mindedness.
