Distributor Dheeraj Mogilineni today stated that Couple Friendly is going to make Santosh Shoban a star hero in Telugu cinema. Speaking at a single screen theatre in Hyderabad on Saturday, he thanked Prabhas for endorsing the movie through social media. He mentioned Prabhas' opinion that the romantic drama is Santosh's Varsham.
In his speech, the distributor acknowledged the reception for Manasa Varanasi’s performance, saying that everyone is viewing it as incredible. "I truly believe Director Ashwin Chandrasekhar belongs in the Telugu industry and should make Hyderabad his permanent creative base. My decision to distribute this film was fueled by a strong conviction that it would resonate with audiences, and I am thrilled that Couple Friendly has kicked off my year on such a high note," Dheeraj shared, adding that he expects the audience's continued support at the cinemas. The film co-stars Rajeev Kanakala, Goparaju Ramana and others.

Couple Friendly has opened in theatres with strong word of mouth from the audience and a public rating of 9.5 on BookMyShow. At the theatre, Santosh Shoban expressed happiness over Prabhas congratulating him. "I normally feel shy about sharing things like this. However, sharing the news about Prabhas anna's appreciation is special. It is making me emotional. It is giving me a sense of victory," he added.
