Interview of Tanya Ravichandran about Raja Vikramarka

Kartikeya Gummakonda and Tanya Ravichandran's upcoming movie "Raja Vikramarka" is all set to hit the screens on November 12th. Directed by Sri Saripalli, Raja Vikramarka stars Kartikeya Gummakonda, Tanya Ravichandran, and Sai Kumar among others.Here is an exclusive interaction with the female lead Tanya Ravichandran.

Q. How did you get to act in movies?
A
. While I was doing my PG in Chennai, I got a chance to act in movies. My parents advised me to complete my studies and then go for it. I did so.

Q. How did this movie happen to you?
A
. The makers approached me for this role. Sri Saripalli narrated the story, to which I gave it a nod.

Q. Tell us something about your role?
A
. My role in this movie is 'Kanthi'. Kanthi is a classical dancer, which I am, in my real life. Kanthi's role is special to me and I loved working for this movie.

Q. How was it sharing the screen with Karthikeya Gummakonda and other actors in 'Raja Vikramarka'?
A
. Karthikeya is a hardworking actor. His colleagues have an advantage, as he is one of the persons who are easy to work with.

I also feel so lucky and honored to have worked and shared the screen with Sai Kumar sir and Tanikella Bharani sir. All the others were so good on the sets.

Q. What kind of movies are you looking for?
A.
I am open to anything unless the story is good. If I like my role, I am ready to accept commercial or drama-oriented movies.

Q. A few words about your grandfather Ravi Chandran sir?
A
. Unfortunately, he passed away before he knew that I am going to act in the movies. Other than that, I have always seen him hardworking, committed, and punctual.

Q. Did you always want to act in the movies?
A
. Actually, I was. Ever since I was a child, I wanted to act in the movies. My parents never accepted to allow me to act, even when my grandfather asked.
