Sachin, who carved a special image for himself in Tollywood with the films ‘Mounamelanoyi’, ‘Ninuchoodaka Nenundalenu’ and ‘Orey Pandu’, is now coming out with the film titled ‘Nee Jathaga Nenundali’ which is being made under Parameswara Art Production banner. Top producer Bandla Ganesh, who produced block buster ‘Gabbar Singh’, is producing this movie with Shiva Babu Bandla as presenter. K Aravind, who came to fame with ‘Bumper Offer’, is directing the film. Naziya Hussain is playing the lead role. Hero Sachin is celebrating his birthday on 7th of August. On this occasion Sachin spoke about the film.
I don’t like celebrating birthdays.
There is nothing special about birthday. I will spend it just like another day. Every day live to fashion is my motto.
How did ‘Aashiqui-2’ happen?
I am re-entering in the Telugu industry after a big gap. Therefore I wanted to come with a new love subject. All the films which I did earlier here were love based. That is the reason why we were inclined to remaking ‘Ashiqui-2’ which was very successful love story with heart touching music. It has a wonderful love feel. We have taken due care to incorporate nativity and sensitivity.
That is the reason I did film in Bandla Ganesh production.
From the time I entered the industry as hero, I know Bandla Ganesh. He is a very good friend of mine. He turned into producer and made many successful films. He knows the Telugu industry and the market very well and that is the reason I made a film with him.
What changes were implemented in ‘Ashiqui-2’?
‘Ashiqui-2’ is the successful love story. The main track remains the same. It is good to see the changes we have done to the original script on screen. Mainly the climax will have the twist and we have taken care to present the film as per the Telugu nativity. ‘‘Nee Jathaga Nenundali’ would be better than ‘Ashiqui-2’.
We are getting wonderful response to the audio.
This is the only film which has crossed the sale 5000 CDs in the recent past. Music is the main reason behind the success of ‘Ashiqui-2’ in Bollywood. In the same way we are getting tremendous response. The film will reach B and C centers audience. Music plays a key role in carrying the love feel.
What are the highlights of the film?
Music is the biggest asset for the film. Chandra Bose has added strength to the music with his poetic lyrics. He has penned the lyrics taking it as a challenge. The film is being made with high technical values. Telugu audience will like Naziya’s performance for sure.
I have done hardest role.
I played a role of successful pop singer named Raghav Jayaram, who is a drunkard. At first I was a bit hesitant. But, I worked hard to perform such type of role. I have tried my best. I’m awaiting audience judgment.
Audience will experience a fresh feel in love sequences.
It’s a feel good love story. The heroine character has lot to perform love and emotional feelings, which made us to rope in a new actress. Therefore we zeroed in on Mumbai girl Naziya after considering several names.
How is it to work with director Jaya Ravindra?
I have seen the film ‘Bumper offer’ which was directed by Jaya Ravindra. I liked it. I was impressed with the way he has explained the scene. He never dropped up our confidence on him. Editing work has done in online. Jaya Ravindra has carved the film wonderfully.
Tell about production house.
We are planning to start a new production house named ‘Think Tank’ soon. This will be in online digital method. We can make starting from short films to all types of films. With this concept we can watch films from anywhere in the world. We will reveal the details soon.
What is your next project?
I am really interested in doing all types of roles. Right now, I am planning to do two films in Telugu. And we are making plans to remake ‘Ashiqui-2’ in Tamil as well.
