We now have a film titled after the most-heard English word since March: Lockdown. Presented by Sher, its story has been written keeping in view the prevailing situation in the world. "We have made the film based on some incidents that happened during the lockdown. It's an entertainer that is presented by Sher, who has also done its music and penned its dialogues," the makers say.
Directed by Baba, the upcoming flick is produced by Minni. Its Teaser was on Thursday released by Pathani Ramakrishna Goud and Atluri Ramakrishna.
"We kept in mind the various scenarios that played out during the lockdown in penning the film, which will give women strength. Besides having comedy, it also throws up a message. The scenes between Rocking Rajesh of Jabardasth and Ee Rojullo fame Sai will be hilarious. This is a family entertainer," Sher said.
The film was completed on a planned budget. Atluri Ramakrishna said, "The teaser is quite interesting. Sher knows the pulse of the audience as someone who has directed two movies in the past."
The film features Umanthakalpa, Aashi Roy, Hrithika Singh, Rocking Rajesh, Balaji, Tejendar Singh, Srikanth, Balu, Apoorva and Sri. With music, story and screenplay by Sher, the entertainer has cinematography by Praveen Kishore. Editing is by Prabhu Eeshwar.
