'Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo' has helped Allu Arjun shatter one more record. After setting a new standard at the box-office, the Stylish Star's movie has now proved its calibre on Television in a massive way.
The family entertainer, which was recently aired on Gemini TV, has garnered 29.4 TRP on its television premiere. This was its debut, which happened about seven months after its theatrical release for Sankranthi. "This is the highest viewership reported for any Tollywood movie till date. This has come at a time when the film has been streaming on OTT for 6 months," a note from Bunny's camp says.
Thanks to its genre, the family audience seems to have watched it without missing the Sunday fun. "Harish Shankar-directed 'Duvvada Jagannadham', too, had scored a very big TRP," the note adds.
Production house Haarika & Hassine Creations, Geetha Arts and the makers of the film are quite happy about the record.
