Netflix unveils trailer of 'Pitta Kathalu'

The trailer of 'Pitta Kathalu', the Netflix anthology, is out. It will start streaming from February 19 in 190 countries.

Speaking on the occasion of the arrival of trailer, Amala Paul said, "The anthology brings out the struggle of a woman to fight the patriarchy. Meera is a bold woman. Because it's like a short film, the narration is all the more gripping. I am happy to have got to work with Netflix."

Shruti Haasan said, "This is the first Telugu-language anthology coming from Netflix. Working on the anthology was a great experience. Working with Sanjith Hegde was great. I love Nag Ashwin's directorial treatment. This is a progressive anthology."

Eesha Rebba said, "I am confident that the audience are going to love the anthology. Pinky, my character, does things her way. She doesn't fear taking her own decisions."

About 'Pitta Kathalu':

'Ramula': This segment is directed by Tharun Bhascker of 'Pelli Choopulu' and 'Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi 'fame. Manchu Lakshmi plays the central character and she is joined by Saanve Megghana and Naveen Kumar.

'Meera': Nandini Reddy, the 'Oh Baby' maker, has helmed this segment that has Amala Paul in a bold role. Jagapathi Babu and Aswin Kakamanu also features in this Radhika Anand-written segment.

'xLife': Starring Shruti Haasan as the protagonist, this segment is helmed by 'Mahanati' maker Nag Ashwin. Sanjith Hegde, Sangeet Shoban and Anish Kuruvilla also feature in it.

'Pinky': Penned by Emani Nanda Kishore, this segment has Satya Dev, Eesha Rebba, Srinivas Avasarala and Ashima Narwal of 'Natakam' fame as the main cast. Sankalp Reddy of 'Ghazi' fame is its helmer.

It is produced by RSVP Movies and Flying Unicorn Entertainment. The banners seek to bring out novel content on OTT.
