At a time when Ram Charan is going places, thanks to the pan-India success of 'Roudram Ranam Rudhiram', his wife Upasana Kamineni Konidela is in the news for receiving an honour.
Upasana, who is the Vice-Chairperson of the Apollo Hospitals Foundation, has been conferred with the reputed NATHealth CSR Award 2022. This is in recognition of the Foundation's Total Health, an initiative that has been working towards deeper engagement with rural communities in the arena of health.
We learn that Upasana was inspired to amplify the initiative by taking inspiration from her grandfather Dr Prathap C Reddy. "I am delighted to have received the reputed the Award. This recognition takes us back to my grandfather's vision of womb-to-tomb care through a community healthcare lens," Upasana wrote.
