'Narakasura', starring Rakshit Atluri of 'Palasa 1978' fame as the hero, had its Teaser launched at an event on Sunday. Co-starring Shatru, Aparna Janardhan and Sankeerthana Vipin, the film features Charan Raj, Nasser, and others in different roles.

To be released in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada, the film is produced by Sumukha Creations and Ideal Filmmakers.

Producers Dr. Ajja Sreenivasa and Karumuru Raghu reposed faith in the screenplay written by director Sebastian. The teaser shows that editor CH Vamsi Krishna, cinematographer Nani Chamidishetty and composer AIS Nawfal Raja have delivered a dekko. Rabin Subu's stunts are also projected to be captivating.

Director Sebastian said that the team had to put up with hardships during the making. He suggested that sacrifices had to be made just so that 'Narakasura' gets completed. Shot in places like Jabalpur, the artistic film features Rakshit in an intense role. "Rakshit has been like a backbone in my case. He cooperated with us despite weather-related and other challenges," the filmmaker said.

Rakshit thanked his director for letting him work with "eminent senior actors." He indicated that the film's technical finesse will impress the audience.

Chief guest and 'Baahubali' cinematographer KK Senthilkumar said that Telugu cinema is witnessing a golden era by crossing over to other countries. He recalled that it was with 'Aithe' that he had begun his career. Speaking about 'Narakasura', Senthilkumar said that he was reminded of 'Kantara'. Like the 2022 blockbuster, the current film, too, seems to be a culturally rooted one.
