Can Nagarjuna's film help Ashika Ranganath?

Kannada actress Ashika Ranganath made her debut in Telugu earlier this year with Kalyanram's 'Amigos'. The thriller was a major flop. She is now doing Akkineni Nagarjuna's 'Naa Saami Ranga', which is slated to be a Sankranthi 2024 release.

Ashika comes with years of experience of facing the camera. "As a teen, I used to give dance shows and performances. I participated in a Clean and Clear Fresh Face Bangalore contest and that's when my photos were out in the public domain. I slowly landed an opportunity with a Kannada movie titled 'Crazy Boy'. That's how my journey began," she says.

After doing more than ten films in Kannada and one in Tamil, she is expecting Tollywood to take her career to the next level. "Telugu films are made on a huge canvas. Even the promotions are very extensive here. In Telugu, the importance of big banners is huge. I want to explore all languages for the sake of gaining experience and tasting versatility. When you are open to multiple languages, your pool increases. You have so many options to choose from," she said before the release of 'Amigos' this year.
