'DJ Tillu' actor Siddu Jonnalagadda attended the pre-release event of 'Butta Bomma' in Hyderabad on Thursday. It was also graced by a few other guests as well. Star director Maruthi and 'Jathi Ratnalu' fame Anudeep KV also made it to the event.
The film hits the screens on February 4.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest said that Sithara Entertainments, which also produced his 'DJ Tillu', is a home banner for him. He described 'Butta Bomma' as a sweet, romantic and thrilling film. He wished the lead actors - Anikha Surendran, Arjun Das, and Surya Vasishtta, on the occasion.
cinematographer Vamshi Pacthipulusu hinted that he has brought to the table his vast experience from working on 'Major', 'Evaru', and 'Varudu Kaavalenu'. He sounded highly optimistic about 'Butta Bomma'.
Producer Naga Vamsi described the film as a woman-centric one. He honestly confessed that the title has been picked to capitalize on the popularity of Allu Arjun's hit dance number from 'Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo'.
Debutant director Shorie Chandrasekhar T Ramesh praised the film's core cast members, besides also lauding music directors Sweekar Agasthi and Gopi Sundar as well as Editor Navin Nooli. He thanked producers S Naga Vamsi and China Babu for their constant support. He also mentioned director Sukumar, under whom he worked in the past.
As for heroine Anika Surendran, she profusely thanked everyone, including her co-stars Arjun Das and Surya Vasishtta.
Surya, who is the son of Late Co-Director Satyam, said that he has been influenced by his father a great deal. He revealed that Siddu Jonnalagadda and Vishwak Sen were the first two choices for the character he eventually played.
TV serial actress Navya Swamy has a role in the movie.
