The pre-release event of 'Shiva Vedha' was held in Hyderabad on Tuesday in the presence of Nandamuri Balakrishna. Hero Shivarajkumar was also present on the occasion. The film is hitting the cinemas on February 9.

Speaking at the event, the 'Veera Simha Reddy' actor said that 'Shiva Vedha' is coming from Geetha Pictures and Zee Studios. He lauded director A Harsha and said that he has known Shivarajkumar's family for many years. He referred to the Rajkumar brothers, namely, Shiva, Raghavendra Raj and Puneeth. "Although Puneeth is not physically amidst us, his work will always remain in the hearts of the people. Coming to 'Shiva Vedha', its graphics look awesome. Other technical elements look promising," the 'Akhanda' actor said.

Shivarajkumar thanked Balayya and said that it was great working with him on 'Gautamiputra Satakarni', which was his 100th movie. "I want to do a full-length role with him. I am waiting for that moment. Our family and the Nandamuri family have had amiable relations for many years. Big stars have been good friends down South for many decades. I have got plans to release all my movies in Telugu," he added.

Geetha Pictures' Geetha said that she was happy to host Balakrishna at the event. "The Kannada original 'Vedha' was a big hit. And the credit goes to director Harsha. Everyone has acted so well in the movie," she added.

Director Harsha thanked the hard work put in by his team. He described 'Shiva Vedha' as an emotional drama and an action thriller. He said that the film has been loved by the female audience in Karnakata.
