'Waltair Veerayya' will be a true 'Poonakalu Loading' experience: Makers @ pre-release event

The pre-release event of 'Waltair Veerayya' was held in Vizag on Sunday.

Speaking on the occasion, Chiranjeevi said that the first narration by director Bobby Kolli lasted 1.5 hours. "I assured him that I would be doing the film soon after the narration. Bobby might be a fan of mine but when it comes to cinema on which crores of rupees ride, you have to be creative and do the film in such a way that the audience love your product. My affection for Bobby went up as I started working with him. He is not egoistic and always strives for betterment. The other day, when I watched the final product, I concluded that 'Waltair Veerayya' will impress all sections of the audience," the 'Bholaa Shankar' actor said.

About Mythri Movie Makers, the 'Acharya' actor said, "After Ramanaidu garu, Aswini Dutt garu, Allu Aravind garu, KS Rama Rao garu and Devi Films, Mythri matches up to their greatness. The producers of the film never had second thoughts about the budget of 'Waltair'. They went out of their way on VFX. Every paisa spent on the movie will be visible on the screen. They are passionate producers. Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar are courageous producers."

Chiru said that Ravi Teja has grown from strength to strength. "When Bobby told me Ravi Teja would be playing a pivotal role, I was enthused. Both our characters are superb. His character enters the screen in the second half and takes the film to the next level," Chiru added.

"Shruti Haasan's role has got importance in the story. She is not there in the film just for songs. She is glamorous and cute in the movie," Chiru said. In his speech, the Megastar also said that Catherine Tresa has a key part as well. "Devi Sri Prasad is like a family member. With 'Pushpa', he has become a national sensation. He is so energetic always," Chiru said.

Director Bobby Kolli said, "Chiranjeevi garu is a down-to-earth person. When I and my father watched the success event of 'Indra' in 2003, I promised him that I will one day do a movie with Megastar. Twenty years later, the dream has come true. This is my second movie with Ravi Teja. Everyone who are going to watch 'WV' will comment that he is the perfect choice. It was my heartfelt wish to team up with Mythri Movie Makers. Sekhar VJ's dance choreography and the Ram-Laxman fights are going to be huge highlights. I am confident that the interval fight is going to be a true 'Poonakalu Loading' moment."

Ravi Teja said that the film is going to be a sure-shot blockbuster. Usually, the 'Dhamaka' actor doesn't talk like that unless he is so damn sure about the result.

Producer Naveen Yerneni said that working with Chiru is a dream come true.
