'Eagle' Teaser: Heavy 'KGF' inspiration, bombastic language

"Spreading wings to clear the chaos (sic)," wrote Ravi Teja, sharing the Teaser for his upcoming movie, 'Eagle'. Writer-director Karthik Gattamneni seems to have followed the editing pattern and narrational techniques popularized by the trend-setting 'KGF' movies. A set of characters (played by Anupama Parameswaran, Navdeep, Srinivas Avasarala, and Madhubala) are seen elevating the heroism of Ravi Teja's omnipotent character with bombast.

The teaser is also a word salad. Terms like 'Lava', 'Volcano', 'Massacre', 'Vidhvamsam' and 'Myth' have been used to give a taste of the superhero-like qualities of the male lead.

Also featuring Kavya Thapar and Ajay Gosh, the film is going to hit the cinemas on January 13, 2024. Producer TG Vishwa Prasad of People Media Factory is intent on releasing the movie for Sankranthi.

Co-written by Manibabu Karanam along with the director, the action thriller has music by Davzand. The director, besides editing the movie, has also shot it alongside Kamil Plocki and Karm Chawla. The dialogues have been penned by Manibabu Karanam.
