Tharun Bhascker's crime comedy 'Keedaa Cola' is slated to hit the cinemas on November 3. Its pre-release event was held on Sunday.

Speaking on the occasion, legendary comedian Brahmanandam, who plays a paralyzed old man in the movie, said that 'Keedaa Cola' is a clean comedy. "Like Jandhyala garu's brand of comedy, Tharun's comedy is devoid of obscene language. I enjoyed shooting for this movie. It was like a breeze. Comedy possesses a unique power as it's the sole element where we can be confident that the audience is genuinely enjoying the show. In the case of action and other elements, it's often unclear whether the audience found them enjoyable unless they verbally express their feelings after leaving the theater," Brahmi said.

Tharun Bhascker said, "I don't boast about my movies fearing that I might sound arrogant. This time, I want to make an exception. I watched 'Keedaa Cola' today after digital mixing and all. And I can confidently claim that this is a very good film. Despite our problems, we sport a smile on our faces. The characters in 'Keedaa Cola' are like us in that respect. I could have cashed in on the popularity of 'Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi' by making a sequel. But I wanted to bring out something fresh. So many kinds of humour - visual, sarcastic, slapstick, aural, deadpan - can be found in this film. This November, cast away all your worries and enjoy our movie."

Chief guest and actor Vijay Deverakonda talked about his first association with Tharun. "'Pelli Choopulu' was a huge hit. Tharun does what he believes in. He never sees cinema as a business. 'Keedaa Cola' is a film wherein a bunch of talents have got to live their dream. I am yet to watch this movie but I am sure you are going to be thoroughly entertained. If you loved 'Pelli Choopulu' and 'Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi', you are surely going to love this film as well. I sincerely believe that this one will become a blockbuster."

The film is produced by VG Sainma. Producer Saikrishna Gadwal said, "Thanks to Tharun, five of us are getting launched as producers through this movie. We are planning paid premieres on November 1 and 2 (in different towns). This film will make you forget all your worries."
