Jagan attacks movies of Balakrishna, Pawan Kalyan

Former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy today opined that the movies led by Nandamuri Balakrishna and Pawan Kalyan feature gross dialogues and extreme language. He made the remarks while registering his disapproval of the arrest of two cadres of his party over displaying the Rappa Rappa punchline from Pushpa 2.

"If you have a problem with people using your dialogues, then you must understand that the Censor Board had approved them. What is so wrong if someone uses film lines and songs? The films of Balakrishna and Pawan Kalyan feature far more obnoxious lines," Jagan said. He argued, "If you have a problem with even the mannerisms of heroes being used in real life, stop making movies altogether. Is this a democracy or not?"

When characters in a movie use threatening language, it is not real threat. When the same violence-tinged lines are used in a political context, the purport changes.
