A distributor from East Godavari has claimed that HIT 3's collections fell drastically from Day 5 in his forte. From Day 8, it was hard to cover even the rentals of theatres screening the action thriller.
The distributor's claim has stunned many, especially those who believe that the movie is an unarguable blockbuster everywhere. Netizens have started questioning the perceived box-office stamina and pull of Natural Star Nani.
While doubts can be understandably raised, HIT 3 has fetched profits in most territories. There are always instances where many box-office hits end up incurring losses in a few territories. Producer S Naga Vamsi himself once said that Jersey didn't make profits in Ceded, a territory that patronizes mass action movies the most. Overall, though, Jersey was a hit movie. In the case of Pushpa 1: The Rise, too, partial losses were reported. The film didn't make profits in some AP territories. In an interview, director Teja claimed that Pushpa made losses while Radhe Shyam gave him profits in a theatre.
