Lately, AI-generated content has caught on with content creators and aspiring filmmakers. Bindu Reddy, CEO of Abacus AI, which is the world’s first AI super assistant and general-purpose agent for enterprises and professionals, is of the opinion that the "Democratization Of Hollywood" has been set into motion by Sora-2. Describing Sora-2 as an insanely cool thing, she adds, "In a few months, we will all be directors of 30-minute short films. Everyone can be Steven Spielberg or JJ Abrams! Sora 2 already seems to outperform Anime."
On the face of it, this sounds like entrepreneurs are trying to oversell AI. Baahubali producer Shobu Yarlagadda opines that not everyone can be a Spielberg. "They are who they are because of creative brilliance and unique voice not because of money or tools they had access to! The way I see it, if someone has a creative mind he can express it and make professional quality films more easily than before. But I don’t think everyone can become a great director! If anything, these tools will raise the bar of creativity even more!" he analyzes.
A social media user says that AI only raises the bars of authentic and real content. "It is true that with AI everyone can create things easily. But this will eventually lead to a drought of meaningful content. SM will be full of people trying to cash the content made out of AI. Good and bad times ahead," he writes.
