Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, the Hindi-language romantic comedy film, is currently playing in theatres. Released on Thursday, it is headlined by Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor.
Since Janhvi is quite popular in Telugu (thanks to Devara and her upcoming movie, Peddi), it would be of interest to know what film critics have said about her performance in the film. Many reviews are positive. She was credited with providing the film's "more sprightly moments," playing a "charming clueless girl."
However, others are critical of the acting chops of the daughter of Sridevi. Some felt she was "slightly unsteady in some sequences, often struggling to keep pace with Varun Dhawan's energy." A review noted she "stumbles in the emotional scenes which should ideally reduce you to a mess."
Janhvi Kapoor will be seen as Ram Charan's love interest in Peddi. The film will head to theatres on March 27, 2026.
