With Ghaati's theatrical release just a day away, UV Creations and First Frame Entertainments today had Rebel Star Prabhas unveil a special video (Release Glimpse). Since Anushka Shetty is the film's hero and heroine rolled into one, her Baahubali and Mirchi co-star did the honours for his long-time friend and industry colleague.
The purpose of a release trailer is to offer a new visual and aural aesthetic while revealing the protagonist to be more layered and plot, more unpredictable. And the latest glimpse does just that.
Director Krish Jagarlamudi seems to have imagined Anuska Shetty in a terrific role, complete with a punchline and a series of warnings that can send shivers down the spines of her rivals. Towards the end, we not only see Sheelavathi pack off a few demonic baddies but also deliver an ultimatum that she won't keep quiet. Unlike the chill vibe of Sailore, the film has a macabre streak, courtesy Ram Kishan's impressive action choreography.
Vikram Prabhu, as Desi Raju, doesn't seem to be a secondary lead. Chaitanya Rao Madadi and Jagapathi Babu play negative roles alongside Jisshu Sengupta.
The music is by Sagar Nagavelli. RRR dialogue writer Sai Madhav Burra has penned the lines. Ghaati hits the cinemas on September 5th.
