K-Ramp is up for a Diwali release, on October 18. And actor Kiran Abbavaram is confident that it will be a hit like his previous Diwali release, KA. Speaking at today's presser, Kiran made a hyper-confident statement about the movie's rewatch value being in the league of the likes of Nuvvu Naku Nacchav, Malliswari, Venky and Ready.
Kiran, in his speech, gave a brief intro about the nature of his and Yukti Thareja's character. While he is a reckless youngster in K-Ramp, the heroine is crazed and whimsical. She is so difficult to handle that such a girlfriend can drive any man nuts. Kiran's words established the nature of the rom-com pretty well. Kiran also suggested that the characters played by VK Naresh, Sai Kumar and others will be hilarious. At a time when OG is the flavour of the season, Kiran reminded the audience that he is a Pawan Kalyan fan. Whereas director Jains Nani is a Mahesh Babu loyalist.
Director Jains Nani suggested that Kiran's creative freedom afforded to him made him write as he liked. Producers Razesh Danda and Shiva Bommak totally backed him. "Why the female lead is crazed in the movie is a surprising element. Chaitan Bharadwaj has rocked it with his BGM. The visuals will stand out. K-Ramp is not a cuss word. As far as I am concerned, 'K' in the title stands for Kiran Abbavaram anna," he added.
Producer Razesh Danda of Hasya Movies said, "Under our banner, K-Ramp is going to be another out-and-out entertainer. I thank Kiran for suggesting me to listen to Nani's script. Nani is another young Harish Shankar and Trivikram. His execution is better than his narration. He is a producer-friendly filmmaker. Chaitan spent three months on the songs. I am going to rope him in for my next three movies as well. VK Naresh garu treats me as a brother. When he works for Hasya Movies, he is in his element. Vennela Kishore's performance will be liked by all. Yukti has nailed it and her performance in the interval scene is outstanding."
Actor VK Naresh said that the entire movie is a pack of highlights. "K-Ramp is a booster rocket that will catapult Kiran to stardom. Jains Nani's story made me hug him soon after his narration. I predict that he will go places; he will become a brand and young audiences will flock to theatres just to watch his direction. Chaitan Bharadwaj's music is a crucial element. The dialogues will explode in theatres. Producer Razesh Danda is a lucky producer to me. After Samajavaragamana, he will score another big hit with K-Ramp. Yukti will be much in demand after this movie. Every frame of K-Ramp is owned by Kiran. Simplicity is his signature," Naresh said.
Actress Yukti Thareja said, "I am grateful for this opportunity. As soon as I listened to the story, I knew I wanted to be a part of the project. I couldn't have asked for a better co-star than Kiran. He made a comeback with KA. With K-Ramp, he will repeat that kind of success."
The team behind K-Ramp repeated that the movie doesn't have cuss words and expletives. It is a family-friendly comedy entertainer, they added.
