Tamil actor Vikram earned a special image through his variety roles in films like ‘Sivaputrudu’, ‘Aparichitudu’ and ‘Mallanna’. Now he is coming up with yet another variety film titled ‘Naanna’ (‘Daiva Thirumaghal’ in Tamil). There is always craze for Vikram films in Telugu and since he has got good market in Telugu, there was a heavy competition on the dubbing rights of this film ‘Naanna’.

Recently, Shankar-Rajnikanth’s ‘Robo’ was sold out for Rs 28 crores. This has prompted the producer M Chintamani to quote the price in crores only. Finally Dr Malla Vijay Prasad of Welfare Creations and Suresh Kondeti of Santosh Studios (P) Ltd., together bought the dubbing rights of the film for a fancy price.

Dr Malla Vijay Prasad, who earned good reputation as an MLA, established Welfare Creations banner and produced hit films like ‘Siddu From Sikkakulam’ and ‘Seema Tapakaya’, both with Allari Naresh. On the other hand, Suresh Kondeti is a successful distributor who dubbed and distributed films like ‘Premisthe’ (Kaadhal in Tamil) and ‘Shopping Mall’ (Angaadi Theru in Tamil). Now this duo is very confident about the grand success of ‘Naanna’ as they consider themselves as lucky mascots.

‘Naanna’ is directed by L Vijay. Vijay tasted super success through his previous films ‘Kireedam’ and ‘Poi Solla Porom’, hence the movie lovers in Tamil Nadu have very high expectations on his 3rd film ‘Naanna’. The film with realistic story has got all commercial elements required for the audience.

Anushka and Amala Paul have paired with Vikram. Both did performance oriented roles in this film. While Anushka impressed the audience without her outstanding performance in ‘Arundathi’, so is Amala Paul in ‘Maina’. The plus points of this heart-touching film are Vikram, Anushka and Amala Paul’s performances, G V Prakash Kumar’s music and Sashank Vennelakanti’s dialogues.
