Kamal’s ‘Vishwaroopam’ which was to hit theaters worldwide on January 25th is in trouble once again. Although the controversy between the Tamil Nadu theaters owners and Kamal Haasan regarding the DTH release has been cleared, the film was banned in Tamil Nadu for two weeks from the release. The Tamil Nadu State Government took the decision to ban the film from screening in theaters for a period of two weeks from January 25th. The tickets in many theaters across the Tamil Nadu were also sold out. However, the ban is due to fear of clashes between the protesters and Kamal Haasan
’s fans if the movie is released.
‘Vishwaroopam’ is scheduled for release in Telugu on January 25th and in Hindi on February 1st.
