Remo first look out!

On Friday, Sivakarthikeyan and Keerthy Suresh-starrer Remo had its first look and song teaser release in Hyderabad. While Anil Ravipudi unveiled the first look, Vamsi Paidipally did the honours for the song. Directed by Bakkiyaraj Kannan, the film had a grand release in Tamil and the makers have planned something on a similar grand scale for Telugu as well! The Telugu version is being released by Dil Raju under Sri Venkateswara Creations banner while RD Raja is presenting thr film under thr 24 A M Studios banner.

An entry with a bang for Sivakarthikeyan

Speaking about the film, Vamsi Paidipally said, "Remo is an example to the fact that when a good team comes together, the result is going to be likewise. I understand how tough it must have been for the director to show hero Sivakarthikeyan as a heroine! Another's music has got a recognition among the Telugu people. It's impressive how Sivakarthikeyan has not just become a name to bank on but a name the audience view for in such a short span of time. This film is definitely the kind of entry that will bring him closer to the audience's here. Here's hoping he continues his success streak in Telugu as well."

The lady getup is a delight

Anil Ravipudi expressed happiness that Sivakarthikeyan is finally debuting in Telugu and said, "So far, his films were being remade in Telugu but for the first time his film will be seen directly by our audiences. When I saw Remo, the lady getup that Sivakarthikeyan dons in the film made me wonder if it is another actress but I was surprised to know that it is him! And that's how wonderfully he played the role. I wish this film gives him the standing he has in Tamil cinema!"

A hit for sure

Dil Raju, who is releasing the film I'm Telugu said, "Recently during an outdoor schedule of Shatamanam Bhavathi, Raja Ravindra happened to show me the trailer of Remo and I liked it so much that I wanted to remake it. And I haven't made a remake so far despite having done 25 films! I saw the preview show in Tamil and really enjoyed it but was doubtful because of the language barrier. But then, I saw the film with the audiences in Vetri theatre and looking at the audiences having fun, I became sure of the decision."

He added, "It was through Mala madam that RD Raja approached me to release the film's Telugu version under my banner and I willingly agreed. I'm the past, I had seen success when Shankar had asked me to release Vaishali in Telugu and later Mani Ratmam's OK Bangaram happened. And I am thinking that as Remo is set to release now, it will give me a hat trick of hits. Sivakarthikeyan's three variations of characters in the film are amazing. PC Sreeram's cinematography and Anirudh's music are assets. It's amazing that a debut director, Bakkiyaraj Kannan, has managed a film that raked around 65-70 crore at the BO. I heartily welcome and congratulate Sivakarthikeyan who is entering Tollywood with this film."

In the words of Sivakarthikeyan

"I am really thankful to Dil Raju Garu for releasing this film in Telugu. Bommarillu, which was made under his banner, is a film I love and connected a lot with. And it feels like an honour to be associated with the banner now. I am excited too and am looking at this release as an examination for me. Since Dil Raju is the teacher, I have a feeling that all of us will pass this exam in Telugu."

The rest of the cast speaks

PC Sreeram: "The Telugu and Tamil film industries are like my two eyes because I have done multiple films in both the languages. The films I did in Telugu have been dubbed into Tamil and same is the case with films I have done in Tamil which have been dubbed in Telugu. I hope Remo is liked by the audiences."

Satish: "It's amazing that the film is releasing in Telugu because of the support of an esteemed producer like Dil Raju."

Bakkiyaraj Kannan: "While it was great that my debut film in Tamil became a success, I am happy to be making even my Telugu debut with this film. I am thankful to my hero Sivakarthikeyan, producer Raja, and Dil Raju for releasing it in Telugu."

Anirudh: "I think Remo will be a great debut film for me in Telugu. I hope the audience will bless Sivakarthikeyan who is entering Telugu filmdom and make not just the film but also the music a hit
