Here is why Nani feels September 5 is so special ahead of V's release

Looks like September 5 is so very special in Nani's career. His first film, 'Ashta Chamma', released on this date in 2008. And his 25th film, 'V', is also releasing on the same date 12 years later. Incidentally, both films happened to him because Mohanakrishna Indraganti chose him.

"I always wanted to be a good actor and entertain the audience. It has been 12 years since 'Ashta Chamma' arrived at theatres. I am glad that 'V' gave me an opportunity to work with some wonderful people. I feel immensely blessed that the Telugu audience have always seen me as one of their own. With each film, my responsibility goes up. I will continue to bring to the audience good films that entertain them," the Natural Star says.

Director Mohanakrishna Indraganti gets nostalgic ahead of his movie's release. “From a guy who came into my office very differently wearing dark glasses because he had some eye infection to what Nani is now, it has been a fantabulous journey for him," the 'Gentleman' and 'Sammohanam' director says.

'V', also featuring Sudheer Babu, Aditi Rao Hydari and Nivetha Thomas, will stream on Amazon Prime Video.
