'Acharya': Chiranjeevi's fans to focus on THIS crucial aspect

When 'Acharya' hits the cinemas on April 29, Chiranjeevi's fans will focus on one particular aspect besides their favourite actor's characterization and performance: the negative characters. Or, better still, the main villain. This brings us to what defines a lot of mass action entertainers.

For a commercial potboiler featuring a superstar like Chiru, a strong villain is like oxygen. The trailer for 'Acharya' doesn't give us the hope that the Koratala Siva directorial has got a super-strong antagonist.

If you notice, Siva's films haven't had a memorable villain. Yet, his commercial dramas have become hits, including 'Bharat Ane Nenu' where Mahesh Babu's political opponents were inept. Siva's films are hinged on drama, the goodness and greatness of the protagonist, and the noble cause he espouses.

That said, when Chiranjeevi is the hero, we expect a bang for the buck. This Friday, we will know whether Siva is awake to this truth.
