'Bheemla Nayak' has taken to huge openings. Released on Friday, it is going strong across all segments. On Saturday, Sithara Entertainments hosted a success event at a star hotel in Hyderabad. For the first time, writer Trivikram opened up about the movie.

Lyricist Ramajogaiah Sastry touched upon writing the climax song. "When Trivikram suggested about the pre-climax song, Thaman got it into the right groove. He said he will give an effect that’s similar to chopping a tree with 1000 saws," the lyricist said. Lyricist Kasarla Shyam reproduced a line from a song from the movie: 'Padamata dikku kungutunte gelichinaamani sambarapadake sandamama'.

The action entertainer has VFX Supervision by Yugandhar, who said that Trivikram is the film's driving force.

Malayalam actress Samyuktha Menon, who has played Rana Daggubati's wife, said that watching the film amid the cheers of fans was a surreal experience. Monika Reddy, who has played Pawan Kalyan's assistant constable, thanked the makers.

S Thaman said that he was clear about the need for enhanced commercial appeal and uplifting Bheemla Nayak, the character. "It was a dream come true for me when I got a chance to work with the combo of Pawan Kalyan and Trivikram," he added.

Director Saagar K Chandra raised a toast for not just Trivikram (who he said is the film's backbone) but also Thaman. "Trivikram asked us to forget about the original film and we worked on it as if we are working on a new script. It’s a great learning experience for everyone," the young filmmaker added.

When it was his turn, Trivikram spoke about changing the Malayalam original. "The original was narrated from Koshy’s perspective in the first half, and here our challenge was to make it all about Bheemla Nayak," the writer said. With a poetic flourish, he added, "A good story is like a Drutharashtra."

About the leading men, the 'Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo' director said, “Rana and Pawan Kalyan worked really hard during the pandemic. Cinematographer Ravi K Chandran shot the whole film in 57 days. Thaman has become a family."
