The trailer of 'Liger' is all about action and little dialogue. It has been edited to deliver a maximalist adrenaline rush. "Plugging the trailer, Megastar Chiranjeevi tweeted, "And here goes the #Liger Trailer. Puri Strikes Again! Raising expectations sky high.. All The Very Best to Entire Team! (sic)."
We see Vijay Deverakonda stammering heavily, far more than the usual stammering protagonists in our movies. Ramya Krishna plays his mother. Ananya Panday's character develops a dislike for him after romancing him for a while, leaving him enraged.
The trailer doesn't reveal anything about the plot. It has nothing much about Mike Tyson's character either. We make little of other characters like Ronit Roy. The focus is on the lead man, for he had to build up himself both physically and mentally to ace the role of an MMA fighter. When he eventually wins the title (like in all underdog masala movies), it will be a rousing moment in the film.
The film is heading to theatres on August 25 in multiple languages. Besides Puri Connects, the entertainer is also being produced by Dharma Productions. If the cinematography is handled by Vishnu Sarma, stunts are by Kecha from Thailand.
