'Thank You': 'Farewell Song' released at Engineering college

'Thank You', which will be released in theatres on July 22, has Naga Chaitanya in the role of a self-centered businessman named Abhi. Director Vikram K Kumar has worked on BVS Ravi's story. Raashi Khanna, Avika Gor and Malavika Nair, besides Prakash Raj, have played key parts.

The news is that, on Monday, the makers released a new song. The farewell-themed song, sung by Armaan Malik, has lyrics penned by the senior lyric writer Chandrabose.

Speaking on the occasion, composer Thaman said, "'Thank You' is a beautiful movie. We all want to express our gratitude to many people in our life. 'Thank You' is about that. Director Vikram Kumar is kind-hearted. He likes everyone. As for Dil Raju garu, there is 'Dil' in his very name. After 'Majili', I am totally in love with Chay's look in this film."

Director Vikram said, "I am very happy to have teamed up with my dear friend Chay for this movie. I thank the producer on this occasion. Thaman has given fantastic music."

Producer Dil Raju said, "I am related to Malla Reddy garu. We have known each other even before he entered politics and I got into the film industry. I am happy to be celebrating this event amidst you all on this college campus. The 'Farewell Song' is about the emotions outgoing college students go through on the farewell day. Vikram has made superb films like '24', 'ISHQ' and 'Manam' in the past. 'Thank You' is a soulful movie like them. Chay is greatly passionate about cinema. He has worked hard for 2.5 years to give his best in 'Thank You'.

Naga Chaitanya said, "College life is the best phase in our lives. After that phase, we join the competitive race in the world. The lessons you all learn in college will be useful for the rest of your life. Please do watch our movie and give your feedback on social media."
